At current, the park has very dedicated and hardworking staff that really goes the extra mile for the park which ultimately is for the benefit of the animals.
All the staff stay on the property and are supplied with electricity in addition to their salary.
There are 3 labour staff and 1 part-time cleaner – Perfect) @ a current cost of R 15,000.00 p/month
Bradley and Rodè, who takes care of the maintenance, animals care, social media, admin and hospitality, all work at the park full time with no remuneration. Although the park does contribute towards their food and absolute necessities every month which is approx. R 5500 p/month.
The Park at current is not in a position to pay them a salary. The park and animals are grateful for their contributions and dedication to the animals, at some point the Sanctuary will need get to a point where they can earn a salary.
It's fortunate that Bradley had a bakkie, although regrettably, it is currently broken. This vehicle was crucial for gathering supplies and food for the animals and for park-related tasks. It constitutes the sole means of transportation available for the park's operations. We would greatly appreciate funding for a new bakkie.
Fuel costs for bakkie on the farm is approx. R 3,000 p/month
Cleaning and consumables for the Chalets, cleaning and laundry @ approx.
R 500.
